ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

The General Terms and Conditions of Use constitute an integral part of the agreement between the Lessee and BOLA BOAT RENTAL SIFNOS. They supersede any prior agreement and include all of its rights and obligations.

It is considered that Lessees have fully and unreservedly accepted these terms and conditions by selecting the field "I accept the terms and conditions" during the creation of a user account or registration for an offer through the website bolaboatrental.com

 

BOLA BOAT RENTAL SIFNOS reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The modified terms become effective upon posting them on the website, which Lessees are required to visit regularly to stay updated.

PAYMENT TERMS

A 40% deposit of the total rental price is required to confirm your boat rental. The remaining 60% is due upon delivery of the boat. A refundable security deposit of €400 is required.

 

a) If weather conditions do not allow for a trip by boat, an alternative date will be offered. If this second date is not suitable for you, we will refund your deposit.

 

b) The security deposit can be paid at the time of booking, either in cash or by credit card.

 

c) Upon delivery of the boat and all equipment at the port of origin, in the same condition as you received it, the security deposit, minus the cost of fuel consumed, and any applicable late fees, will be refunded.

MANDATORY EXTRA CHARGES

The charge for fuel consumption will be based on the per liter price, according to the rental agreement, upon delivery of the vessel, and will be deducted from the security deposit upon your return.

CONDITIONS

The minimum age for children allowed on the boat is 3 years old. Children under 12 years old must wear life jackets on the boat.

 

The renter returns the boat to the provided docking area at the base port, exempt from bedding and in the same condition in which it was received. In case the renter does not return the boat accordingly, the renter will be charged for the transport of the boat to the port of origin and any related expenses.

These charges/expenses will be deducted from the deposit. The cost of replacing lost or damaged objects/accessories such as anchors, mattresses, tents, refrigerators, etc., will be deducted directly from the deposit.

 

When the value of lost or damaged objects exceeds the amount of the deposit, we will issue an invoice with payment terms of 7 days.

 

The renter is responsible for all damages (excluding normal wear and tear) caused to the boat during the rental period. BOLA BOAT RENTAL SIFNOS may withhold part or all of the deposit, as needed, to cover the cost of repairs. In the event that these expenses exceed the amount of the deposit, BOLA BOAT RENTAL SIFNOS will charge the renter the full amount of the deposit, including reasonable collection and legal expenses, as applicable.

DELAYED RETURN

 

If the lessee returns the boat to the dock more than 30 minutes after the conventionally agreed time, the lessee loses 50% of the deposit.

 

CANCELLATION

 

In case of cancellation by the lessee, for any reason, the following charges apply:

 

a) Surf Bike and Sup Yoga excursions Cancellation 7 days before the confirmed date - 50% of the deposit. Cancellation within 7 days of the confirmed date - 100% of the deposit.

 

b) Boat rentals Cancellation 60 days before the confirmed date - 50% of the deposit.

 

Cancellation 30 days before the confirmed date - 100% of the deposit.

 

Change requests are available up to 7 days before the event. There is no additional charge. However, if there is a price difference between the services, the customer will be compensated for it.

 

All change requests are subject to availability.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

During the operation of the vessel, the renter must not violate any of the following rules and regulations: The captain is prohibited from consuming alcohol or using any illegal substances. Pets are not allowed on board. The vessel may only be moored in the designated mooring area, except in cases of emergency. BOLA BOAT RENTAL SIFNOS reserves the right to prohibit customers from entering the vessel at any time.

UNSAFE USE

The renter must be present at all times during the rental period of the vessel.

 

The renter must ensure that there are not more people on board the vessel than allowed under the contract.

 

If at any time the lessor deems that the renter is using the vessel improperly or unsafely, the lessor or his representative may notify the renter by canceling the rental agreement with immediate effect and, at his discretion, board and take possession of the vessel. The lessor has the right to determine whether a behavior is improper or unsafe.

 

If the rental is canceled due to improper or unsafe use, the deposit is forfeited.

 

Any violation of the above terms will result in the loss of the deposit and/or legal action.

 

By signing the contract, the renter confirms that he has read and understood all the provisions and rules explained above and agrees to comply with them.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER - ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

The lessee acknowledges that the activities for which the vessel has been designed involve inherent risks, including the risk of bodily injury and/or death. By signing the rental agreement, the Lessee accepts

DECLARATION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

We inform you that the personal data (name, address, telephone numbers, email, ID or passport number, etc.) and sensitive personal data (health information, possibly dietary preferences, etc.) that we collect from you for the purposes of the lease, as long as they do not belong to those that we are obliged by law to keep in our records for a longer period of time, will only be used by us during the specific lease period and exclusively for its realization according to this agreement, until your safe return and the confirmation that the vessel and its equipment were returned in the same condition as when delivered to you.

 

They will then be deleted. We only retain the personal data that we have specifically requested from you for a specific purpose (e.g. sending newsletters), for which we have obtained your explicit written consent.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Our company and the lessee undertake to resolve in good faith any dispute that may arise. In case of failure of the relevant efforts, any claim, lawsuit or legal action will be taken in the Courts of Athens, Greece.
